Tips Mengubah Flashdrive Menjadi RAM

Seringkali kita jengkel sama komputer kita yang kian hari malah kian terasa lambat. Padahal dulunya mungkin rasanya cepat banget, namun sekarang justru lambat banget. Mungkin ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhinya seperti program yang terlalu banyak, harddisk yang tersisa sedikit, atau prosesor yang perlu “update”. Namun sebenarnya faktor yang cukup penting dari kecepatan komputer ialah pada besar kecilnya RAM. Tetapi, harga RAM di pasaran sudah cukup tinggi. Bagaimanakah solusinya supaya komputer kita tetap mendapat tambahan RAM, namun tidak menguras kantong? Gampang. Jika kita memiliki flashdisk/flashdrive yang mungkin tidak terpakai, dapat kita manfaatkan kembali dan kita ubah menjadi RAM. Wah kog bisa? Sebentar, maksud dari mengubah tersebut bukan merubah susunan dan bentuknya sehingga bisa kita masukkan ke dalam slot RAM pada CPU kita, melainkan kita hanya mengubah fungsinya saja sehingga menyerupai RAM. Dalam tutorial kali ini saya memanfaatkan aplikasi yang bernama eBoostr.

Program eBoostr ini sebenarnya tidak gratis atau dapat kitak katakan berbayar, namun sudah banyak juga cracknya atau patchnya yang bisa digunakan untuk menghilangkan batasan dalam free trial.

Konsep dasar eBoostr ini adalah membuat cache ke dalam flash drive yang tentunya kecepatan akses data untuk read/write lebih cepat dibanding dengan proses melalui hard disk.

Ada beberapa syarat yang harus dipenuhi untuk mendapatkan hasil maksimal :

1. Flash Disk dengan kecepatan Read/Write minimal 20 MB/s, lebih cepat lebih baik tidak perlu space yang terlalu besar juga minimal 512-1GB saja sudah cukup. Atau jika kesulitan menemukan flash drive yang kecepatan read/writenya bagus dapat cari flash dengan logo “ReadyBoost”.
2. Port USB 2.0
3. eBoostr program. Jika anda belum punya, dapat download DI SINI.

Cara instalasinya cukup mudah. Untuk step-by-step nya instalasi dan patch nya sebagai berikut :

1. Download dan exctrac file eBoostr.2.02.Build.424
2. Jalankan dan install eboostr.exe
3. Setelah instalasi selesai.... jangan jalankan eboostr, kalau eboostr sudah jalan secara otomatis... tutup eboostr dengan cara klik kiri eboostr yg berada di system tray (kanan bawak dekstop) lalu pilih exit
4. Setelah ditutup, jalankan patch.exe
5. Saat patch.exe di buka, pilih patch dan cari di mana program eboostr di install.
6. Setelah “done”, eboostr akan menjadi full
7. Untuk membuat flashdisk menjadi memory RAM tancapkan flashdisk ke komputer
8. Lalu jalankan eboostr dan pilih add
9. Pilih flashdisk yang akan di jadikan memory RAM
10. Tentukan ukuran cache, sebaiknya jangan di ubah (buat sesuai default) karena eboostr akan menentukan jumlah cache yg akan dijadikan RAM.
11. Setelah itu pilih "ok" dan tunggu beberapa saat. Proses akan berlangsung cukup lama tergantung berapa besar cache yg digunakan.
12. Setelah selesai akan ada pertanyaan, lalu pilih ok.
13. Setelah proses selesai komputer anda akan menjadi lebih cepat.

Berdasarkan hasil percobaan saya, eBoostr ini sangat membantu untuk notebook saya yang hanya mempunyai RAM 1 GB. Saya mencobanya untuk memainkan game Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2, dan cukup lancar dengan flash disk yang saya gunakan dalam eBoostr sebesar 1GB. Sebelum menggunakan eBoostr ini, untuk membuka gamenya saja mungkin sudah sangat lambat, apalagi untuk memainkannya. Namun bagi PC/Notebook yang mempunyai RAM 1GB ke atas, anda tidak akan merasakan terlalu banyak penambahan kecepatan setelah menggunakan eBoostr ini.

So, sebelum kita mengeluarkan isi dompet kita terlalu dalam untuk membeli RAM yang baru, ada baiknya untuk mencoba program eBoostr ini dahulu. (D_V)

Furthermore, the software giant has made somewhat of a tradition from making sure that XP, Vista and now Windows 7 are available as free downloads in order to streamline various testing, training, planning and adoption programs.

Various releases of Windows, packaged both as ISO and VHD images can be grabbed from the company, and installed into testing environments immediately. In this regard, it is critical to note that one downside of the free Windows OS downloads is the fact that the bits cannot be deployed into production.

On December 29th, 2009, Microsoft has updated the virtual hard disk images of Windows Vista and Windows XP. Initially delivered following the release of Internet Explorer 7, the VPC Hard Disk Images of XP and Vista are designed for testing websites in accordance with multiple Internet Explorer versions. There are three copies of XP SP3 and two of Vista available at no charge via the Microsoft Download Center.

1. Unzip and install Commview, then paste the included "cv.exe" to the directory you installed it to (c:\program files\commviewwifi)
2. Open commview and install the commview drivers to a card. It should prompt you about your card and than automatically install the driver. It is important that you have 1 card that works with commview or else the rest of the tutorial will not work
3. now go to the "rules" tab and check "enable advanced rules"
4. type in the box labled formula "tods=1 and dmac=FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF" then type a name for your formula in the box labled name and than click add/edit.
5. it should now appear in the upper box. if it is not checked, check it.
6. now click settings>options>memory usage and turn maximum packets in buffer to 20000 (max). If it prompts you to restart it, do so. There are three funnel looking things on the main menu bar of commview. uncheck all but the first one (one labled "capture data packets")now click the play button and scan for the network you want to crack.
7. once you have found it, drag the channel menu down to the desired channel and click capture.
8. now using your other adapter thats not capturing, connect to the password protected network. when it asks you for key, type in something random, i used 1234567890.
9. it should now say connected with limited connectivity. (same as being associated!!)
10. go back to your commview menu and click on the packets tab. you should see a couple of packets.
11. looking at the protocol column, you should see a couple labled IP/UDP, ARP REQ, and a couple of others. Right click on any packet labled "ARP REQ" and than click send packet, and selected. A mini menu should now appear.
12. on the mini menu, change packets per second to 2000, and rather than 1 time(s), click continuously, and Then click send.
13. now go back to the main commview window and go to the rules tab, and uncheck the rule you made.You are now injecting and you should see the number of packets rising really fast.
14. to save the packets, you have to save every 20000 packets, click file, save and than in the save dialogue, remember where you saved it, and instead of saving it as an ncf file, save it as a "dump" .cap file.
15. Extract the Aircrack-NG folder.
16. open aircrack-ng-GUI that can be found in the map "bin" and select the files you saved, and than click launch.
17. Look at the list of IV's you have, and select the network you want to crack , there should be a list of alot of them, chose the one with the most ivs.

Windows XP Pro Performance Edition September 2009 USB

This is the USB version. This version will allow you to install it off of a Flash Drive, Thumb Drive, USB Drive, Memory Cards, Portable HD's, Etc. I have included a tool to help you do this. (WinSetupFromUSB_0-2-3.exe) If you have your own way or own program, then you don't have to use the one I included. This supports ALL Languages and ALL Keyboard Layouts.

This is a FULL Install. You CANNOT Upgrade from previous versions of Windows. There is no validation required. This PASSES WGA. This works 100% with Windows Update. I have included the CD-Key already in the install process. This means at no point will you have to enter it. Some people using Macs or Virtual Machines might need the serial. See Serial.txt if you do need it. Serial.txt is located in the download folder and in a folder on the disc/iso. This has all windows updates through September 2009. This is has been tested numerous times with no errors. This has minimalist Internet Explorer 6. (Use It To Download Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, Etc)

This is the x86 version (32Bit). Updates currently work fine and this also currently passes WGA. As a preventative measure, I've also included Office and Windows WGA Cracks which are in a folder called "TJ" on the disc in case they start blocking the serial number included. You don't need to use these unless you can't get updates, or this is no longer passing WGA.

This is set to automatically log you in each time you start up. If you want to be prompted for a username and password please see the "TJ" folder on the disc. It contains a registry patch that you can run to have it prompt for username and password again. This folder on the disc also contains numerous other little tweak applications, registry patches, WGA Cracks & More. Please look at it before asking questions.

In the "TJ" folder on the disc, in the folder called "Registry", you will see another folder called "Save_Icon_Layout". Whenever I install new graphics drivers my icons on my desktop get out of place. This little DLL and Reg Patch will help with saving/restoring your Desktop Icon Layout. To Install It: Extract the "LAYOUT.DLL" filder to "Drive:Windowssystem32" folder. Then double click the Reg Patch to apply it. Now it should show up as an option when you right click on your My Computer Icon.

I have removed the original Net Framework that ships with XP. It's super old and outdated. You can still download and use a newer version however. Just download the latest version from Microsoft.com or Windows Update.

I have disabled and deleted the Classic Windows XP Install Screens with the info about XP and the blue Background.
You will just see a black background now and the install will look similar to 2000. This saves Space and gives more
info while installing.

The Minimum HD and RAM Requirements have been lifted. You can try and install this on whatever machine you like now.
High ISO Compression has been enabled to save space.

Microsoft intends to release Microsoft Office 2010 Technical Preview to invited guests who register to sign up for Office 2010 CTP Program only by July 2009. Office 2010 was previously known by codename Office 14 (taken cue from its version), and wrongly assume to be Office 2009. The setup installer of both 32bit (x86) and 64bit (x64) Office 2010 Technical Preview 1 (TP 1) has been leaked to BT network. The leaked Office 2010 Technical Preview 1 has the version of 14.0.4006.1010, a pre-trial version provided to premium Microsoft partners.

It’s unclear whether it is the leaked Office 2010 TP1 build will be the version that is going to be released officially by Microsoft in July. And it’s still unclear yet whether Microsoft will make available publicly for Office 2010 Beta downloads, which is said to be will be having 2 betas - Beta 1 in July 2009 and another Beta 2 in November 2009. The betas is said to be different from Technical Preview, where TP is just meant as an engineering milestone for the development of Office 2010 and related products that leading to RTM that will reach in July 2009, according to Office 2010 IT Blog. Office 2010 is expected to RTM and released as final product in March 2010, with the exception of Exchange Server 2010, where Exchange Server 2010 beta already available from official download links.

The setup installer of the leaked download will install Microsoft Office Plus 2010 edition, with Access 2010, Excel 2010, InfoPath 2010, OneNote 2010, Outlook 2010, PowerPoint 2010, Publisher 2010, and Word 2010. Project Professional 2010, SharePoint Designer 2010 and Visio Professional 2010 are also included in the leaked RAR archive download. Office 2010 supports Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

Important note is that Office2010 TP 1 is still in early stage of development, and may contain bugs, although most individual programs such as Word 2010 and Excel 2010 are usable in everyday life. It’s also interesting to know that Office 2007, the predecessor of Office 2010, is version 12. Office 2010 will be version 14, skipping version 13, the number that Microsoft assumes may be not so lucky.
